![]() ![]() But that doesn't change no matter which entry you pay for. The actor/characters are amazing and so good at what they do. ![]() The "terror tour" was pretty cute but somewhat underwhelming. Promises of "being taken off the beaten track" nope, and the secret rooms, a TV screen and a squirty bottle, was funny at the first maze but for all four, not really. Once we had been deposited into out area it pretty much felt like the staff where done with us, interaction was quite minimal. After shelling out $210 for this, I'd like to say I was blown away, but I wasn't. Food expensive and poor quality with long wait times (even outside school holidays).Īfter doing Fright Night last year my daughter and I decided to go all out and pay for the VIP experience. The covered main street is a great idea and staff were friendly and helpful. The lines were not too long as we weren't there in school holidays, however a number of attractions were closed which reduced the variety and added to the other lines. My younger daughter only went on 3 rides for the entire day, whereas my 16 year-old had a ball. We found there was very little for anyone "in between" the young kid stage and the teenage/adrenaline stage. It was a shame there weren't more attractions of this nature to add variety. My last visit over 12 years ago included show(s) on backlot / movie-making which we enjoyed - there was nothing of this nature this time around other than the car stunt show (excellent) and 4D movie (entertaining). ![]() We had limited time on the Gold Coast and selected this as our only theme park on the basis it had more to experience than just the rides. However only 1/5 for anyone who dislike adrenaline-type rides. I would rate 4/5 for those who love adrenaline rides or for those with young children interested in meeting the characters. ![]()
